Our History
McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council, Inc. (MTECDC) began in 1981 as a mission-driven family organization. Operating as a Head Start and Early Head Start provider, we offer vital educational and support services across seven counties. We collaborate with parents to ensure academic readiness and healthy development.

Early Head Start (Birth –3)
Providing care for expectant mothers and infants through three years old. Focused on secure bonding and family goals. Availability varies by local facility.
Head Start Preschool (Ages 3–5)
Developing school readiness for ages 3-5 through balanced instruction and community care. Staff verify family eligibility.
